You start by applying for the permit from the municipality or online via the Gaming Authority. You will often need an extract from the Chamber of Commerce with your application, including proof that you are acting on behalf of a legal entity.
Step 2
Determine the name and prizes
Determine the name of the lottery, the prizes and any bonuses, and the date of the drawing. Consider multiple prizes, a prize package or even prize money.
Step 3
Start selling
After approval by the permit holder of the lottery, you can immediately start selling tickets. The start and end date of the lottery can be fully set in the Loteraise dashboard.
Step 4
Fair and verifiable drawing

Step 5
Financial accountability
Submit your financial accountability and the spending of the net proceeds of the lottery to the Gaming Authority within 3 months after the last drawing.
Important rules and conditions
A permit is required from the municipality or the Gaming Authority.
The term of the permit may be valid for a maximum of 6 months.
The proceeds of the lottery must be spent on a good cause or the general interest.
A maximum of 13 drawings may take place.
It must be assessed within a maximum of 8 weeks after receipt of the application.
In the event of cancellation: report the cancellation as soon as possible so that participants receive the deposits they have paid back immediately and in full.
